Turning Carbon into Useful Products
There are roughly 350 startups working to turn carbon into useful products
Jet fuel – moving to sustainable jet fuels made from chemical processes that turn CO2 into syngas which can be turned into a jet fuel replacement
Building materials – injecting carbon into wet concrete which permanently stores it as a mineral
Investment has expanded. Over $550m had flowed in by the end of September according to research and consulting firm Cleantech Group; more than in the previous five years put together
